Free Self-Defense Training Camp Successfully Conducted in Bhadradri Kothagudem

A 10-day Free Self-Defense (Karate) Training Camp was successfully conducted at Coolie Line, Kothagudem, in Bhadradri Kothagudem district from February 10 to February 20, 2026.

The camp was organized under the directions of the Telangana State Karate-Do Association and in accordance with the guidelines of the Karate India Organisation (KIO). The training sessions were led by Coach Indrala Sridhar, who successfully conducted the program for ten consecutive days.

### Empowering Underprivileged Children

The camp was part of KIO’s nationwide social initiative titled **“Mission Strong Children – Strong India.”** The primary objective of this initiative is to empower poor and underprivileged children with essential self-defense skills, enhance their confidence, and promote personal safety awareness.

Qualified and registered KIO Karate coaches conducted the training sessions, ensuring professional guidance and structured instruction. Karate India Organisation will provide remuneration and appreciation certificates to the coaches for their dedicated services.

### Role of State Associations


The affiliated State Associations are responsible for organizing and managing such camps at schools, colleges, institutions, societies, parks, and other suitable community locations through their nominated coaches. The successful execution of this camp in Kothagudem reflects strong coordination between the state association and local trainers.
